Bienvenue a Marrakesh, Morroco!

First cup of mint tea! la la la loved it!

Riad Mur Akush! By far my favorite home away from home yet!
Stop....hmmmm.

The big mosque in the city.

The Medina walls. They run 10 kms around the old city and prevent anyone from getting in or out without using the proper exits and enterances.

In the souqs.
souqs

shoes in the souqs.

herbs and spices
lunch time... and Tea time too!

Ana bargaining with a hostile old grumpy lady! lol

Now a museum, this was once the University of Marrakesh.
Fatimaa's hand... stands for good luck!

Lemonade dudes! Got to love em! I think they made more money off of taking pictures than selling the lemonade!

Snakes in the entertainer square.
This one's for you ma!

Standing in the square before it gets crowded and insane!

Zeet zeet Camels! Here we go on our camel trek!
All dressed up and ready to ride through the desert!

Melissa the camel and I!

Melissa the camel had... 2 humps....
Ana and I trekking through the desert.

The Berber Riad made of mud. Very cute!

More mint tea at the Berber Riad.
Tastes much better than it looks.

My camel, Melissa.

Why not haul a million boxes on a bike at once? Who needs a car?!
Motor bikes have pedals here cus they are so old that the motor often doesn't quite cut it!

Shukran Marrakesh! Shukran!

Rome,Italy

Ciao Roma!
Some of the sights as we walked the streets of Roma awe stricken!

We loved the architechture everywhere we walked.

It was wet, I mean WET while we were in Rome...umbrellas didn't seem to keep us dry, and with our pants tucked into our shoes to keep dry, there was no fooling the fashionable Italians that we were surely from Canada! Hey, when in Rome.... uh, hmm. try explaining that phrase to a Roman...really!
The Pantheon

A whole lota gelato with Kel Kel!

Trevy fountain! Make your wish!

The Vatican at night! Unbelieveable...

Arriving at Vatican City
The Vatican and St. Peter's.

The Vatican

" A Sense of Wine" wine tasting event in Rome. Here I am with the world's most famous wine tester... and I have no idea what his name is. :)
Chin chin!

The Coliseum...
Standing in front of the Coliseum in awe....

The Crew Kelly, Alix, Kathryn, and me.
amazed...

The area where the gladiators would fight. All of the tunnels were actually pathways and rooms where the lions would be kept before being sent up to attack.
Alix and I.

The Coliseum was phenomenal. By far the most breath taking place I have ever stepped foot in. I didn't want to leave!
